Who killed Tybalt? and who did Romeo kill?
What happens to Romeo?
Right before Mercutio is about to die he curses the Montague and Capulets, analyze this.
Do you think that when Romeo is fighting Tybalt do you think he showed his true colors?
Do you think Romeo should have received the punishment he got?

After the balcony scene Juliet goes back to her room and then she writes in her diary; Romeo, oh how you stole my heart. I hope that my Romeo feels the same. I wonder what his answer will be when I send my Nurse, he must if. He risked his life to come visit me so his intensions must be true. But I'm still a Capulet, do I really love him THAT much to turn my back on my family, I mean how much of my family have I had to support me. The only one who I think only cares about me is Nurse, she was like the mother I never had she was with me since my youth. And she approves of it. Well we will see what tomorrow holds.
After the balcony scene Romeo leaves Juliet's house and starts walking home; Oh how I never thought I would be able to get over Rosalina, if I was never in love with her then I would never have sneaked into the feast. But I'm glad I didn't because tonight I saw a angel in Juliet, so pure. I just met her tonight but I feel like I knew her my whole life. It is love at fist sight. I must tell her to marry me. Friar Lawrence can even do it, Perfect. I can't wait for her to send someone tomorrow so I can tell them this great news. I just hope that my true loves thinks the same.

The balcony seen that I thought was most effective in getting the point across was the nome version of the play. The reasons why I think this are because it shows Juliet as a silly personality and it's easie r to understand because of this. Like when Romeo sneaks up on her Juliet goes oh where you heard for all of that as she like almost falls off of he castle. Romeo is also portrayed as a clumsily character because he says that he is really good at sneaking around and that's like his middle name. Just as he says this he steps on a switch witch turns on the light system Juliet has and so much attention is drawn to him. And because of this he must leave quickly because he doesn't want juliets father or mother to see him. And because of this the romantic part of the scene was ruined. The scene I thought that wasn't good in getting the point across was the royal shakespeare company, I was really confuesed I think it was because how they depicted Romeo and Juliet they made them like punk teen, I say they are punk because Romeo is wearing a black hoodie and Juliet has like black masquerade on. This makes me think that they are bad people. And because I was thinking about why they would be dressed like this then I think I wasn't playing close attention to the play itself and that's why I think it was confusing.

• I understand that you need to ask questions like how, where and why the character changed from the beginning to the end
• first impressions are very important in a play but sometimes it helps if you can take notes on what stands out to you
• Props are important for a play because it give the audience a insight on what the next scene may be before it has happened
Things I didn't understand were the beats, I don't understand what that means when it says the actors make there lines into beats. Another one was the audiences expectations and the last one was productions history.

If I can chose a scene from Hamlet to describe, it would be the fencing scene. I chose this scene because it was a action scene and it made the movie more interesting. In this scene Hamlet gets challenged to a dual and his opponent is a very good fencer and keeps Hamlet guessing during the fight. The scene starts off as a very important event, you know this Because the King and Queen are there. Meaning it must show importance. Also everyone is dress very sharp, the men all are wearing tuxes and the Woman have there hair all done and very nice jewelry and pretty dresses. Also they are serving what looks like Champagne of that era. Any way after they first fight everyone watches including Hamlet. Then he gets challenged. And they fight Hamlet wins but he gets very lucky. He then gets challenged to a rematch but this time they decide to fight without anyone protection, it means a lot two these two if they are choosing to get get rid of there armour because they will get seriously hurt because they way to win is by hitting your opponent in the chest. So one may die. The fight escalate and they take it upstairs. They leave the red carpet. Hamlet goes over board and mid fight pushes his opponent off of the balcony and he gets very hurt. This shows how Hamlet has zero mercy and has anger issues. You can tell he has these characteristics because there are multiple clues that point to them one of the is Hamlet knew that he was in a dangerous spot and he knew the lay out because he has grown up in the castle, so he chose to take it to the next level by putting his opponent in a spot were he could be in danger area and then Hamlet through he off. After he did it for like 15 seconds he was still angry and he looked crazy but after those 15 ish seconds were up he reflected on what he has just done and looks heart broken like he didn't want to do it but he didn't have a choice because he is the prince and they never lose they are winners so he just had to do what he had to do to win, even though he cheated really bad by killing his opponent but when he was in the moment he didn't think anything of it. The second clue was after the first dual was over and Hamlet just nearly got away with the win he didn't think that the win was good enough for a prince. Since he is this royal figure everyone at the party thinks he should be the best since as soon as he was born he gets what ever he wants. And since it wasn't the best and the people deserve better. So this is why I chose to describe the fencing scene because it was very interesting, and had great action.

The most intersecting scene in hamlet in my opion is the beginning, because it can make or break the movie. The reason I think this is Becuase in one movie the beginning was portraying hamlets mom and how she was happy that her husband died and she already remarrieyed, also hamlet in that one is really portrayed as a prince with his gold/blond hair. In the other hamlet the beginning the mom was said and it looked like she was saying a prayer to the dead body of her husband and hamlet has a angeay presents of him he wears black and has a hood on.
I agree with Benedict Cumberbatch when he chose to say the words "it allows the audience to empathize with Hamlet." I agree with him becuase by him saying the famous speach "to be or not to be." It really made the audience think about what the famous speech that everyone knows about meant. I think that it means Hamlet is thinking about killing himself, and he does not know if he should even exist. To be alive or to be died. He compares death to sleep, and how if your dead would you still get nightmares. So Hamlet starts becoming a broken record because he keeps questioning his life and if he should live or just go to sleep for the rest of his life. It doesn't help when your also being haunted by the ghost of his died father But you try to cover that up by not taking full responsibility or no responsibility for your actions. I feel for Hamlet because I can speak from past experiences when the good days are good but the not so good days are horrible and feel like it will never get better, and you really start to reflect on who you are. It really shows who you are as a person if you can take a hit and keep getting hit but thats the easy part getting knocked down because if you can't take anymore you can just get back up the hard part if using all of that pain you have and dealing with your inner demons and using all that as energy to get back up. When I was in sixth grade during the summer on vacation I broke my arm pretty bad I had to get two surgeries and my growth plate was affected and the doctors we concerned if my wrist would start growing more to one side. I was not able to play the sport that I loved that year football, i was so mad because I was forced to sit on the sidelines and watch the team that I should have played for win the championship they went undefeated too. And it really tested my character because when ever i got my monthly check up to see how things are going it would was be back news and still almost 5 years later I still carry that weight on my shoulders. And every month I still get the same thing.
